Paxton
N. Crew was born in Orange, Texas and is a seventh generation Texan.
He is a 2007 graduate from the University of Houston Law Center.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Crew was a contractor at NASA’s
Aircraft Operations Division, working on a variety of projects with
research and training aircraft. Mr. Crew was a member of the University
of Houston Law Center Moot Court Team, competing in the John R. Brown
Admiralty Moot Court Competition where he finished as a national
finalist and national semi-finalist. Mr. Crew also served on the Moot
Court Board and was an executive officer of the Advocates. Mr. Crew
focused his studies on Admiralty, and was the winner of the “Gus A. Schill Jr. Admiralty and Professionalism Scholarship.” He is a member
of the Order of the Barristers. Prior to graduating, Mr. Crew interned
for Stolt-Nielsen Transportation Group in both the General Counsel’s
Office in Norwalk Connecticut and Stolt’s U.S. Gulf Operations
Department in Houston, Texas.
Mr. Crew was admitted to practice in Texas in 2007. Mr. Crew practices
in all areas of Admiralty and Maritime Law. He is admitted to
practice in the Southern, Eastern and
Western Districts of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
