Mr. Gerold received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1975. He secured his National Association of Securities Dealer’s license and worked with an investment company for a year. He then attended St. Mary’s University School of Law and received his J.D in 1979. Since receipt of his law license, Mr. Gerold has devoted his practice to civil litigation, primarily in the defense of corporations and individuals involved in  commercial, tort and personal injury matters.

Mr Gerold has represented corporate and individual clients in a wide array of commercial and civil litigation matters including consumer claims, product liability, personal injury and wrongful death cases at the administrative, trial, and appellate levels.  He has appeared in the state and federal courts in a number of jurisdictions including Texas, Louisiana, Florida and California. He has also given presentations on Alternative Dispute Resolution, as well as depositions, discovery and expert witness practice in Texas.

He has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 1979 and has been admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
