Angela Porter was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee.  Ms. Porter received a full academic scholarship to the University of Tennessee and received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration in 2004.   Ms. Porter is a 2007 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, where she was also the recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship all six semesters.  During law school, Ms. Porter served as a student attorney in the UH Legal Aid Clinic and litigated matters in Harris County courts.  Prior to joining the firm, she practiced with a local firm specializing in personal injury and insurance defense.  

Ms. Porter is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and is admitted before the United States District Courts in both the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas. She is an active member of the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, and the Association of Women Attorneys.  Ms. Porter’s practice includes commercial litigation and all areas of labor and employment.
