Ms. Swanson was born and raised in El Campo, Texas. She is a 2002 Graduate of the South Texas School of Law in Houston, Texas. She is also a 1998 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where she obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Analysis. Ms. Swanson has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2003 and she is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Before joining the firm, she practiced for five years with a well-known Houston trial firm specializing in insurance defense. Ms. Swanson focuses her practice primarily on litigation including commercial and personal injury matters. She also practices in the area of insurance coverage. Ms. Swanson is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association and The Houston Young Lawyers Association.
