Mr. Stuart is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Irvine, and he graduated from Tulane University School of Law with honors. Mr. Stuart is licensed to practice law in Texas and California. He joined the firm after serving as a partner in the Houston office of Baker & McKenzie.

Mr. Stuart represents clients in all types of labor and employment matters, including litigation of discrimination, harassment, whistleblower and retaliation allegations, overtime claims, and non-compete and trade secrets cases, before administrative agencies and in court. He counsels clients regarding employee terminations, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, FMLA, FLSA, and other workplace issues. He helps companies remain union-free, defends clients before the NLRB and in arbitration, and negotiates collective bargaining agreements.

Mr. Stuart has successfully tried cases in state and federal court and before the NLRB. He is a frequent speaker and author on employment topics and is an Adjunct Professor in the Executive MBA Program at Rice University’s Jones School of Management.
